Baked Salmon with White Wine Trout Roe Sauce
Woohoo, that´s it!! I´m officially on holiday now. Full five weeks to look forward to and lots of things planned. Plenty of food related trips, of course! I’m so excited!
Salmon is one of my favorite things to eat and I love it for a million reasons. Number one must be that you can vary it in so many ways plus it´s a great, healthy protein, packed with healthy fats and vitamins. Salmon is pink and mild and usually popular with everyone.
In this recipe of Baked Salmon with White Wine Trout Roe Sauce I bake my salmon in the oven on a low temperature and use a thermometer to get it perfectly cooked. Cooking and baking is so much easier when you use a thermometer and there is no need to risk getting a dry piece of meat or failing in the kitchen.
The white wine sauce in this recipe is a bit tricky with many steps but is well worth it. You can prepare the sauce in advance, evan the day before if you want, and just heat up and stir in sour cream, trout roe and chive just before serving.
