Chocolate Banana Cake
chopped dark chocolate
Dress an ovenproof mold with non-stick baking paper.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Pull the saucepan off the plate and let the chopped dark chocolate melt in the butter.
Add mashed bananas into the chocolate mix.
Add sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks (one egg yolk at a time, stir between each).
Sieve down the flour and mix well. Beat the whites to a hard foam and turn them into the batter. Pour the batter into the mold.
Sprinkle coconut over and bake in the lower part of the oven, 175°C (350 F) for 30 minutes.
When the cake is ready it should be sticky. Let the cake rest until cool.
Mix all ingredients for the frosting until smooth. Spread on cooled cake and cut into pieces. Serve with fresh berries.
