Autumn’s can be a bit rubbish. Yes, the leaves are nice but sometimes it´s just chilly and sad. But the autumn has one more thing going for it – the mushrooms! This time of year I want to put mushrooms in everything I cook. I wish I knew how to pick wild mushrooms myself but I don´t. I´m also a bit scared to pick the wrong ones and get poisoned so I have kept myself away from it. Maybe if I join someone that have experience from picking, it would be fine but not on my own. Do you pick yours?
This recipe of creamy Mushroom Soup is perfect if you have your freezer filled with self picked mushrooms. It´s totally okey to buy them (I do) but it going to taste so much better if it´s your own. Serve this soup with my Healthy Bread with Walnuts and Apricots or my Baguettes.
PS: Do any of you remember that I went painting plates with my work about a month ago? This soup plate is the result of it. What du you think? Look pretty good, don´you think?
