Tomorrow it´s my birthday. Yay!!! What suits better on a birthday celebration than a radiant, lovely Marzipan Cake?! Or Princess cake, as we call it in Sweden. This is actually Freddys favorit and he always wish for it on his day. Today I wanted to make my cake in small glasses but you can make one large if you prefer. It´s also only going to be me and Freddy tomorrow so it´s very convenient for us this way plus I love to make individual small portions. It´s so much cuter, don´t you agree?
The Marzipan Cake is filled with cream, vanilla, jam and covered with marzipan and is a favorite of both young and old. I always keep some left over cake in the fridge and that is perfect to use in these type of recipes. Never throw away any leftover cake.
