Venison on Toast
I´m a big fan of stuff on toast – Croque monsieur, Avocado Toast, Chèvre Chaud, Eggs Benedict, Toast Skagen, the list goes on. Toast, or crostini or bruschetta or whatever, is the perfect vehicle for almost every kind of flavor, and can serve as every type of meal. From indulgent breakfast to afternoon snack, party appetizer to light dinner.
Venison on toast with pan-fried mushrooms and lingonberries are all amazing flavors combined and an other favorit on toast. Venison makes a superb alternative to beef. The lean, red meat is low in fat and full of rich gamey flavor.
